We’re happy to share that Langley Presbyterian Church was recently featured in the Langley Advance Times in an Earth Day story about our building upgrades.
What began with a very practical need to better cool our church has grown into something we’re grateful for, with the installation of new heat pumps and solar panels. Through God’s good provision, we’ve been able to take these steps to care for our building and reduce our impact on God’s creation.
Rick Penner and Eleanor Mills were interviewed for the article and shared some of the thinking and care that has gone into the process. Rick reflected, “What kind of a world are we going to leave to the future generation?”—a simple but important reminder of why these choices matter.
We give thanks to God for His provision and guidance throughout this journey.
