Communion & Blessing for Students and Teachers

A new school year is just around the corner, and with it comes a lot of getting ready, getting organized, and settling into a new routine.

On Sunday, September 6, we’ll take time during our service to pray for and bless the students and teachers in our community. We’ll also share Communion together as we begin this new season — a time to gather around the table, remember Christ’s presence with us, and share in fellowship as a community of faith.

Our Scripture reading this Sunday is Matthew 18:15–20, where Jesus speaks to His disciples about what to do when someone sins against another. The passage invites us to reflect on how we approach difficult situations, listen to one another, and respond when relationships are challenged.

Sermon: When We Hurt One Another

As we begin a new school year and gather around the Communion table, we are reminded of the importance of coming together — in worship, in prayer, and in community.
